When we first decided to set up My First Beats we knew straight away that we want to support children’s charities, the hospices in particular. The care that they provide for children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family is not simply about medical and nursing care but also about enriching their lives and their families. They help build precious memories that their families can hold on into the future… a future which will sadly be without their much loved child.

We are proud to be a corporate partner to Children’s Hospice South West, and look forward in helping them more as our business grows.

Children’s Hospice South West provides the only residential hospice care in the South West of the UK and supports children, and their families, with life-limiting conditions. With more than 1,000 families with life limited children in the South West, they provide care for around 600 families; both those with life limited children and families that have sadly lost a child.

Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in Bristol and Little Harbour in Cornwall are places where families go for respite and relaxation, laughter, friendship, expert palliative and terminal care and support for the whole family, right through into bereavement. Their hospices are places full of love and laughter where families can begin to forget their worries for a while, be a family again and receive the very best care for their child.
